Job Description Summary

• Staff Accountant plays a key role in the monthly close process to ensure accounts are reconciled timely and accurately, and acquisitions are accounted for in accordance with relevant accounting standards. This position is committed to excellence and determining ways to improve and promote quality while demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness. Responsibilities include working on ad hoc reporting and additional accounting related duties.

  Position Responsibilities:
  
  • Prepare monthly general ledger account and balance sheet reconciliations with proper supporting documentation.
  • Calculate and maintain monthly journal entries and develop period-close procedures.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure GL accounts are compliant, accurate and complete.
  • Analyze and maintain acquisitions to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  
  
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  4-year Accounting degree
  2+ years of experience in this field
  Strong Excel and Access skills
  Exposure to AS400 computer systems

Base Pay Range: $56,304.00 - 77,418.00
