Accurant LLC is a progressive, expanding, full-service accounting and tax firm with multiple locations throughout the Midwest. We’re looking for an experienced external auditor to work out of our Austin, MN location. Our firm offers flexibility, a competitive salary, incentive bonuses and an excellent benefits package. 

Responsibilities:
   Lead audits for non-profit, for-profit, and governmental organizations
   Conduct thorough research on complex financial reporting issues
   Make final adjusting entries for business clients prior to preparing tax returns
   Review the work of less experienced staff

Requirements

Qualifications:
   Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar field required
   CPA license preferred
   At least five years of leading audits (non-profit and government) in a CPA firm setting
   Must live in close proximity to the office in order to meet with clients in-person
   Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance accounting, and financial reporting standards
   Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
   Ability to work independently and as part of a team
   Strong communication & interpersonal skills, displaying the ability to connect & build relationships with clients, firm leadership and peers
   Confidence in professional aptitude & the ability to effectively convey skills, knowledge and qualifications to clients
   Experience with TaxDome, QuickBooks & Microsoft Office a plus
