Management Accountant (FP&A Focus) | Contract | Leederville | Immediate Start Required

A well-regarded not-for-profit organisation based in Leederville is seeking a Management Accountant with a strong FP&A focus to join on a 3-6 month contract, with potential to extend. Immediate availability is essential, and applicants must be Perth-based with full working rights for full-time hours.

About the role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, this role blends core management accounting responsibilities with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You will play a key role in supporting financial operations while partnering with stakeholders to deliver clear, actionable insights.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys both the detail of month-end and the forward-looking aspect of planning and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments and income recognition
• Deliver monthly management reports with clear variance analysis and commentary
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including scenario analysis
• Monitor financial performance against budget and provide insights to stakeholders
• Partner with budget holders to support cost management and financial understanding
• Assist with grant and programme financial tracking and reporting
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and support period-end close processes
• Contribute to process improvements across reporting and planning cycles

About you

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
• Experience in management accounting with exposure to budgeting and forecasting
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data
• Advanced Excel capability, including working with large data sets
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative approach
• Available to start immediately and commit to a full-time contract
