Lorain County Community College is part of The University System of Ohio, one of the largest comprehensive public systems of higher education in the nation. The College is known for its academic innovations, commitment to students, and supportive environment for both students and employees.

Lorain County Community College Library along with the Elyria Public Library System--North Branch is a three story, 86,000 square foot facility. The LCCC Library is a robust student support division that provides over 93,000 print book and ebook titles and over 600 periodical titles. Library materials and resources are complemented by information and research services provided by a staff that is professional at all levels. The library is part of the OhioLINK consortium of Ohio College and University libraries. The LCCC Library has two full time faculty librarians, three adjunct reference librarians, five full time staff, ten part-time staff, and 34 student assistants.

The eLearning@LCCC team provides the administration of and analytics for the college’s learning management system, Canvas, and delivers quality technical support to over 11,000 students, instructional course design, technical support, expertise in digital technologies, and training to over 110 full-time faculty and over 800 adjunct faculty, administrators, and staff. The eLearning@LCCC team has one faculty member, three professional technical staff, and three student assistants.
