We are looking for an ACCOUNTANT/PAYROLL SPECIALIST !
This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll for union and non-union employees, some work various shifts for our 24/7 operation, and supporting essential accounting functions while handling sensitive and confidential information.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing payroll accurately and on schedule
Supporting accounting and financial recordkeeping functions
Preparing routine reports, correspondence, and documentation
Working independently or collaboratively across departments
Maintaining strict confidentiality standards
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university OR
Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Payroll experience (experience with 24/7 operations and/or union payroll is a plus)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment
Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and with staff at all organizational levels
Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets LBVSD policy requirements
