Requirements
Accountant: This class performs routine accounting tasks related to housing authority financial transactions; federal and state grants billing, accounting and reporting; accounts payable; accounts receivable; collections; general ledger maintenance, banking, contracts, and cash flow monitoring.
Office Assistant 1: This is the journey level administrative support class with incumbents providing clerical and receptionist services requiring knowledge of Authority rules and regulations. Specific duties include keyboarding, data entry, review and reconciling of data, review and correction of documents, and use of online or personal computers. Incumbents may have extensive public contact with individuals seeking information about Authority programs and services; and may also be utilized as the trainee level for housing eligibility determination.
