Accountant (CPA)

 Virginia association management company (AMC) seeking a CPA with XX years of experience. 

 AMC work provides the unique opportunity to work with a variety of professions. Responsibilities: 

      Provide financial services and operational support for multiple non-profit trade associations. 

      bank deposits and reconciliations

      membership management

      accounts payable

      prepare periodic financial statements

      budgeting

      regulatory and tax filings

      reports and analysis

      assist outside CPA firm with audit and tax work

      present financials to boards

Requirements

Qualifications: 

      Experience  

      active Virginia Certified Public Accountant license required

      QuickBooks experience is preferred. 

      proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint 

      Excel knowledge is required.

      database experience is preferred 

      Skills and abilities 

      manage multiple clients of varying industries and needs  

      exhibit excellent customer service skills 

      strong written and verbal communication skills 

      prioritize, multi-task, and maintain attention to details  

      proactive and independent while collaborating well with others

      successful background check.

      lift 20 lbs. 

      Travel 

      possess a Virginia drivers’ license
