An excellent operations opportunity in a global asset management firm.
Job duties:
• Review of net asset valuation reports of investment funds
• Monitor cash activity of the funds including cash transfer for investment needs, receipt of subscription proceeds, payment of redemptions and fund's operating expenses
• Assist in annual audit queries and review annual financial statements for the funds
• Assist in the Company's licensing, continuous professional training monitoring and other compliance process;
• Assist in the Company's various regulatory compliance filings;
• Handle queries from service providers or regulatory bodies for the funds
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of investment funds documentation database;
• Work closely with back office, front office and service providers on corporate administration and compliance matters;
• Handle ad hoc fund administration, compliance and clerical work; and
• Provide accounting, audit and administrative support to the team.
Requirements:
• Degree holder majoring in professional accounting, a CPA or a related discipline;
• 3 to 8 years' working experience in sell-side fund administration, buy-side fund operations and corporate administration and accounting is preferred;
• Knowledge of various basic SFC and Cayman regulatory and compliance rules is preferred;
• Good written and verbal communication in English & Cantonese;
• Proficient in MS office
• A mature, independent and proactive professional
• Willing to learn and able to self-learn;
• Detailed minded, strong analytical and problem-solving skill; and
• Well-organised and able to handle multi-tasks at the same time and work under time pressure.
