Senior Financial Accountant - Multi-Site Experience - Remote Role

Our client is a well-established, multi-site Australian organisation experiencing continued growth. They are seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to join their high-performing finance team in a permanent, full-time capacity.

This role suits a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a complex, multi-entity environment and can confidently partner with stakeholders across operations and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accurate and timely month-end close across multiple entities
• Prepare reconciliations, financial commentary and performance insights
• Support board reporting, bank covenant reporting and external audit processes
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Drive process improvements, automation and strengthening of internal controls
• Support integration of newly acquired entities
• Contribute to financial modelling, scenario analysis and investment initiatives
• Partner with operational leaders to deliver clear, actionable financial insights

About You

• CA/CPA qualified
• 2-5 years' experience in financial accounting/reporting
• Experience in multi-entity or multi-site environments highly regarded
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical capability
• Advanced Excel skills; exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite advantageous)
• Confident communicator with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• Solutions-focused, organised and able to manage competing priorities
