Who We Are
EstateCo is not a law firm. We are Estate Advocates for families and heirs. Our mission is to honor the deceased, protect family legacies, and recover every asset left behind for the people who deserve it most.
Our team is full of heart and hustle. We move fast, think smart, and fight for our heirs. We believe in meaningful work, family balance, and creating real results that matter. If you love chasing down details, solving puzzles, and turning chaos into clarity, you’ll love working here.
The Role
We’re hiring a Probate and Trust Financial Specialist to help identify, recover, and account for estate financial assets. You’ll be the person who tracks down hidden accounts, calls financial institutions, handles unclaimed funds, and makes sure every dollar is properly documented and distributed.
This is not a bookkeeping role. This is forensic-level estate work. You’ll deal with banks, brokers, insurance carriers, unclaimed funds offices, and everything in between. You’ll work closely with our attorneys, accounting team, and paralegals to keep estates compliant, audit-ready, and moving quickly.
If you have trust officer, private banking, or fiduciary experience and enjoy the hunt for details, this role was built for you.
What You’ll Do
- Locate and inventory all financial accounts related to estates, including checking, savings, investment, and insurance.
- Contact banks, brokerage firms, and insurance companies to collect and transfer estate funds.
- Research and file claims for unclaimed funds held by state agencies.
- Track, reconcile, and report all funds accurately with full transparency and compliance.
- Maintain clear communication with attorneys, beneficiaries, and financial institutions.
- Support the legal team with probate and trust filings when needed.
- Ensure all activity complies with Florida probate rules and fiduciary standards.
- Organize and maintain detailed reporting for every estate account.
Who You Are
- Experienced in banking, accounting, or trust administration, with at least five years working in a fiduciary, estate, or financial services environment.
- Comfortable calling banks, handling compliance documentation, and tracking down missing funds.
- Highly organized, analytical, and persistent. You don’t stop until every account is found and reconciled.
- Confident using spreadsheets and managing financial reports.
- Familiar with probate and trust processes and able to assist with related filings.
- A professional communicator who can handle sensitive family matters with empathy and precision.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and resourceful with a genuine interest in helping families close the financial chapter of an estate.
Why People Love Working Here
- We are a mission-driven company that believes in doing good work for good people.
- You’ll have freedom to own your role, take initiative, and grow your expertise.
- We reward high performance and value professionals who deliver results.
- Our team is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping heirs every day.
