Our client is a leading Australian energy provider developing critical infrastructure. The company is entering a pivotal growth period-offering the right candidate the chance to support new initiatives, enhance financial processes, and contribute to an expanding business.

The Role

This 6‑month temp‑to‑perm Accountant role provides hands‑on exposure across AP, PO management, reconciliations and reporting. You will support automation, streamline AP processes, and assist with financial reporting during a period of operational activity.

• Enter and manage purchase requisitions and POs in the system, ensuring correct coding and approvals.
• Verify, process, and match invoices against POs and receipts; support AP automation and invoice‑scanning rollout.
• Maintain vendor records and assist AP Officer with streamlining P2P processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with management and statutory accounts preparation.
• Support Cognos reporting and provide general finance support as required.

Your Profile

• Hands‑on, proactive attitude with strong AP/P2P experience.
• Experience in Pronto or Cognos beneficial.
• Exposure to WBS/project coding desirable.
• Oil & gas, mining or engineering experience is advantageous but not essential.
