MIAMI UNIVERSITY’S Department of Accountancy invites applicants to apply for two tenure-track positions at the assistant professor level beginning
fall semester 2026.
Assistant Professor to provide quality teaching and research, as well as service to the profession and university. Faculty members at Miami have the opportunity to teach in both undergraduate and master's programs.
The Department of Accountancy currently has approximately 150 graduates per year, and consists of approximately 25 members including tenured/tenure-track faculty, teaching professors/lecturers, part-time instructors, and staff. The Department values high-quality teaching and research. The Farmer School of Business has approximately 1,200 graduates per year. Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate in accounting or closely related field (completed by December 31, 2026 for re-appointment to second year).
Consideration may be given to candidates with evidence of effective teaching and high-quality scholarly research potential; professional certification (CPA or similar); and relevant professional work experience. Applications are welcome from those with expertise in any area of accounting.
